A REVITALISED PARK FOR OUR NEW NEIGHBOURHOOD
Reopened in June 2022 as part of Brent Cross Town’s pledge to create more than 50 acres of green space, Claremont Park has been reimagined as a flourishing green space with imaginative play and sports facilities, calming water features, nature trails, a kiosk and a public art.
It is space for children and adults alike to gather, stay active, explore nature and relax. The park is home to free events and workshops throughout the year and has been designed as a social space where improved connectivity, accessibility and inclusive are prioritised.

GUSSY'S ICE CREAM PARLOUR
Home to family-run businesses Gussy’s Ice Cream Parlour, the kiosk in Claremont Park also houses essentials such as toilets and baby-changing facilities.
Visitors to the kiosk can also experience the playful energy of Rainbow of Ribbons, an art installation that doubles as a rain screen created by artist Hanna Benihoud.

ECOLOGY
Nature is at the heart of Claremont Park. Visitors will discover more than 300 new trees, including an orchard of fruiting trees that will provide a food source for the local bird and insect population. Wildflower meadows can be found throughout the park, and at the centre there is a large pond with a viewing deck and swales running along the northern edge. These features ensure that Claremont Park plays an important and active role in improving the local area’s biodiversity.

PLAY
Play is a key feature of Claremont Park, with an exciting playground at its centre that includes climbing structures, swings, roundabouts, and slides.
The Water Meadows area of Claremont Park has been designed to inspire creativity and inclusivity through play. There are physical aspects, but also sensory, natural, and collaborative, in order to support a variety of different types of participation and fun.
In the Pocket Sports Zone you’ll find a basketball hoop and mini-scooter and skate area, while walking and cycle routes through and around the park improve access and connections to the local area. Download the park map below.
